Dr. Dimosthenis Mantokoudis
D.M.D (Bern, Switzerland)
Dimosthenis Mantokoudis has completed his graduate studies at the University of Berne, Switzerland.
After his doctorate thesis in the field of Periodontology at University of Berne and several years in private practice he completed the postgraduate program of Prosthodontics at the Department of Prosthodontics, University of Berne. Dimos was also appointed in the Prosthodontics department as an Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator.
His activities, both in clinical practice and clinical research, cover the field of oral implantology and implant prosthodontics.
Dimosthenis initiated with the support of the Global Microsurgery Foundation and in collaboration of the University of Queensland a novel type of postgraduate program in implant dentistry with the strong focus on clinical training as a part-time delivery at a new purpose built teaching facility: The Australian Institute of Dental Education and Research – AIDER.
He is currently Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and appointed from the Global Microsurgery Foundation as Chief Executive Officer of the AIDER.
Dr Keith Doonan
B.D.S (Lond) M.Clin. Dent (Pros) & FRACDS
Keith Doonan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993 from Royal London Hospital Dental School where he also graduated as the Dental Society President. He later received his Masters in Prosthodontics from Kings College London. Keith is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a part time visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland Dental School. He is currently lectures on dental implants, Prosthodontics and communication skills.
Keith maintains a private practice in Brisbane city centre and the Sunshine coast. Keith has mentored a number of dentists with regards to the practical hands on aspects of implant dentistry.
Dr Stephen Robinson
B.D.S (Leeds) M.D.S (Leeds) & FRCS (Ired)
Stephen completed Specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute in 2008 and is on the UK specialist lists in Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Periodontics. He has a particular interest in complex multi-disciplinary Restorative Dentistry including implant rehabilitation and is a part time Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland.
Madeleine Junker-Shibler
Dental Hygienist (Bern, Switzerland)
Madeline has been within the dental industry for over 28yrs. Prior to becoming a Hygienist, Madeleine was a trained dental assistant. Madeleine graduated in 1987 from University of Berne, Switzerland as a Dental Hygienist.
Madeleine has worked in Brisbane since 2004 at various private practices and has worked at the AIDER from the time it opened in October 2009.
